What is galleon.ph?

It is an online shopping website that sells items not normally shipped to the Philippines. Some sellers from Amazon or some official website stores don’t ship items to the Philippines 😦 . So Galleon purchases them in a different country and ships it to their warehouse 😀 . Afterwards, they’ll send it to the Philippines and eventually to the customer.

It so happened I needed a new headset for my ESL online work. The headset I would like to buy on Amazon can’t be shipped to the Philippines 😦 (sadlayp). I almost gave up on buying the item and choosing an international brand sold locally  instead when I chanced upon Galleon and voila! They are selling the headset I like. I will do a review of the item once I receive it. For now, I want to talk about the process you have to go through when buying from this online store.

Signing up

Signing up is easy breezy! If you want it done in a click, just log in to your Facebook account in a tab and open galleon.ph in another. Once you click log in, it will automatically log you in.

Or you could click Log in and it will redirect you to your Facebook sign up/log in page. It seems there is no other way but to use your Facebook account to log in.

Actually, it is your common add to cart, input billing information and choose payment method online store.

Email Notifications for orders

I received several e-mails after the order I made:

  • an e-mail asking me to confirm the order so they could purchase it;

  • an e-mail confirming the order was made;

  • e-mails informing  me they have purchased the items and the estimated time it will arrive.

I have placed my order in the third week of July and my orders are estimated to arrive on the third week of August. I will be updating this page when my order has arrived. Watch out for my review on the MPOW headset I bought on this website. See you on the next update!
